Social Media Policy - Use of Children's Image (3Disciplines Triathlon and Swimming Club)

Triathlon and Swimming Club 3Disciplines is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for all members, especially children. This policy outlines the guidelines for sharing images of children on the club's social media platforms.

Sharing pictures of children

Prior Consent: Written permission from a parent or guardian is required before sharing any photos of children online.
Permission Form: A permission form will be provided during registration for parents/guardians to give or refuse consent for their child's image to be used for promotional purposes.
Respect for privacy: We recognize that some parents may not be comfortable with their child's image being shared online.

Guidelines for sharing images

Security measures

Restricted Access: Access to upload content on social media platforms will be restricted to authorized club personnel.
Reporting Concerns: Parents and guardians are encouraged to report any unauthorized use of their child's image to club management. We will investigate such cases and take appropriate action.

Updates

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in social media platforms or relevant laws. We will notify members of any significant revisions made to this policy.

This license includes

Pictures of my child participating in club activities (training, racing, etc.)
Group photos where my child can be present

This license does NOT include

Pictures of my child in vulnerable situations
Images used for any purpose other than to promote the Triathlon Club
Downloading images for other purposes (if it is found that someone is using them for other purposes, they will be prosecuted.)
